During the DSFF event hosted at the Kia Center on March 21, 2024, Tanya Veras was recognized as the Inclusion Champion of the Year by her student Conor Purvis. The event was filled with fun activities for students, teachers, and parents including seats at the Orlando Magic later that day and even getting to shoot some hoops on the court post-game.
