Anya Garibashvily is a junior at the University of Central Florida. She is studying to complete her Bachelor of Arts in Media Production & Management and is on the production track.

She has been drawing since early childhood, but took illustration seriously starting her sophomore year of high school when she joined the graphics staff of the school’s student-led newspaper, the Torch. On top of illustration, she was tasked with taking photos to accompany articles. Her love of working with the camera translated into her work in broadcasting, where her senior year she was named executive producer.

Now, she continues drawing and taking photos, but her focus is now on video. She currently holds the Assistant Producer position for Bets, a student-led show on UCF’s sports news network, Hitting the Field. Recently, she worked on the October 26, 2024 UCF Pregame Show prior to UCF’s football game against BYU. She held the position of technical director.
